Jeffrey Rosenfield, M.D. graduated with honors from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. He studied medicine at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida and completed his residency in emergency medicine at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Rosenfield is board-certified in Emergency Medicine by the American College of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Rosenfield was one of the founding members of the emergency medicine physician group, Emergency Physicians of Naples, and spent seventeen years working in the emergency rooms of the NCH Healthcare System in Naples, Florida.
Dr. Rosenfield started ER QuickCare in 2007 with the goal of providing affordable, quality healthcare. He is married to his wife Melinda and they have three children. His hobbies include spending time with his family, photography, and travel.

Carlos Paisan, M.D. began his professional career with undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He attended medical school at the Universidad Central del Este in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Paisan completed his residency in Family Practice at the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University program at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia. Dr. Paisan is board-certified in Family Practice through the American Board of Family Practice.
After graduation, Dr. Paisan worked through the emergency room department with the NCH Healthcare System. He was named Medical Director at the Marco Healthcare Center and Medical Director of the East Naples Urgent Care. Dr. Paisan joined the ER QuickCare organization in 2013.
Dr. Paisan was born in Cuba and is fluent in Spanish. He is married and has three children. His hobbies and passions include spending time with his family and living an active, outdoor lifestyle. He has competed in numerous triathlons (front Sprint to Half Iron Man), and has completed several mountain climbs, including summiting Mt. Rainier, Pico de Orizaba and Iztaccihuatl.
Dr. Francis Engel is a board-certified osteopathic family physician with more than 40 years of experience providing comprehensive, patient-centered medical care. Throughout his career, Dr. Engel has cared for patients in the practices of family medicine, urgent care medicine, emergency medicine, occupational medicine, and rehabilitation.
After earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, Dr. Engel completed his internship at Normandy Osteopathic Hospital in Normandy, Missouri.. He achieved Family Practice board certification in 1998 and has maintained his certification to this day. Dr. Engel has practiced medicine in Indiana, Michigan, and Florida. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to compassionate, evidence-based care, helping patients of all ages achieve better health through personalized treatment and preventive medicine.
Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Engel proudly served in the U.S. Army, where he completed Guided Missile Repair School at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama
Steven Turbiner, M.D., D.M.D., initially attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, he completed a three-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Boston City Hospital. He was selected Chief Resident during his final year and went on to obtain board certification by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
After obtaining his board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Turbiner entered Albany Medical College through the “advanced standing entry” program and obtained his Doctorate of Medicine. He went on to complete a surgical internship program at Tufts New England Medical Center and then became board certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He maintains his emergency medicine board certification to this day.
Dr. Turbiner was invited to practice Emergency Medicine at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, Massachusetts. That same year he established a private practice in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Both practices thrived until he was recruited to practice Emergency Medicine with the NCH Healthcare System in Naples, Florida. In 2015, after twenty years of working with the NCH Healthcare System, Dr. Turbiner joined the ER QuickCare organization.
Dr. Turbiner is married to his wife Sheila and they have two wonderful children. Dr. Turbiner enjoys running, sailing and photography during his off hours, though, the hours he spends with his two granddaughters remain the most precious.
Dr. Ricardo Alonso is a board-certified family medicine physician based in Naples, Florida. Born and trained in Havana, Cuba, Dr. Alonso earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de la Habana, graduating as class Valedictorian in 2010. Dr. Alonso went on to complete a Family Medicine Residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he was recognized as Best Intern and later named Chief Resident. Driven by a desire to grow beyond the exam room, Dr. Alonso obtained his Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport, Louisiana and has since built a career that bridges frontline medicine with organizational leadership. Today, Dr. Alonso serves as Medical Director for several skilled nursing facilities in Naples, Florida. He works with VITAS in Naples, Prestige Outpatient Providers, and is Chief Executive Officer of MDCare Health System — a company he has built from the ground up.
What sets Dr. Alonso apart is the breadth of his perspective. He has cared for patients in the under served communities of Venezuela, during the pandemic he was in charge of the Covid floor at Brooklyn Hospital, and now leads a growing health system — all while remaining a hands-on physician. To his patients, he is approachable, unhurried, and genuinely invested in their well-being.
Dr. Jeffrey Olson is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with more than 35 years of clinical experience. Board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine, he has spent his career providing expert, compassionate care in emergency departments throughout Florida and the Midwest.
Dr. Olson earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine after completing a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Medical Technology. He completed his internship at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan and his emergency medicine residency at Brentwood Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
Throughout his career, Dr. Olson has served at numerous hospitals, including the Physicians Regional Healthcare System in Naples, Florida, the Lee Memorial Health System, HCA Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, HCA West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, and AdventHealth in Sebring, Florida. His extensive experience in high-volume emergency departments has provided him with the expertise to evaluate and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
Dr. Olson’s goal at ER QuickCare is to provide high-quality, timely medical care in a more personalized outpatient setting. He hopes to build strong relationships with our patients, while delivering medical care with the same clinical expertise and effecient, evidence-based medicine, that has defined his decades-long career in emergency medicine.
